Know your Compliance ABC’s
We believe that our FDRs have the opportunity each and every day to promote and support an ethical culture by serving all customers with integrity, respecting co-workers, seeking guidance and bringing forth concerns without fear. It is imperative that your organization maintain a confidential FWA and Compliance reporting mechanism that is distributed and widely publicized for all employees and contractors within the organization to encourage reporting of potential FWA and Compliance Issues.
We make it easy for employees and FDRs to “Know their Compliance ABC’s” when confronted with a potential or actual FWA or Non-Compliance issue. All concerns that affect University of Maryland Health Advantage’s Medicare plans must be reported to University of Maryland Health Advantage’s Compliance Department, but may go through your own process initially. It is mandatory to report any potential or actual non-compliance and/or FWA to University of Maryland Health Advantage, Inc. There is a zero-tolerance policy for retaliation or retribution against anyone who reports suspected misconduct.
Below you will find a link to our ‘Know Your Compliance ABC’s” poster. We ask that you share this poster with your employees and contracts who assist you in providing administrative and/or health care or prescription drug services for University of Maryland Health Advantage Medicare plans. You may also keep it as a reference tool and use your own internal processes for reporting and collecting these issues.
